The Breath is for Everyone
We often associate breathwork with yogis or meditation experts. But the science of respiratory physiology applies to every human body.
- The Executive: You make hundreds of decisions a day. Decision fatigue is real. Breathwork clears the “cache” of your working memory, allowing better distinct decisions.
- The Athlete: CO2 tolerance is the limiting factor in physical stamina. Practicing breath holds and nasal breathing improves your physical endurance.
- The Anxious Sleeper: If your mind races the moment your head hits the pillow, you have an overactive sympathetic nervous system. Breathwork is the chemical signal to turn it off.
- The Parent: Patience is a resource. Breathing replenishes it. Stepping away for 10 minutes of “Soft Breathe” can change the entire tone of your evening with your family.
You don’t have to be “spiritual” to breathe. You just have to be human.
